Who writes this, and what it refuses to print

Rowcount reads the seller's page, writes down the date, and does the arithmetic in public. That is the entire method, and the refusals below are as much a part of it as the prices.

What this site covers

Data analytics, data science, SQL, Excel and AI skills courses, for people who want to learn them. That is the whole remit. It is written from the learner's side of the transaction, never the seller's, and it does not cover how to build or sell a course, how to teach one, or how to pass a cloud platform's certification exam.

Where the numbers come from

Every price, course count and stated duration on this site was read on the publisher's own page, and carries the day it was read. Where two of a company's own pages disagree — which happens more than you would expect, particularly during a sale — the site says so and shows both rather than picking the flattering one.

Nothing is taken from a deals directory or a comparison aggregator. When a figure cannot be confirmed on a primary source, it is left out rather than hedged, because a hedged number still reads to most people as a fact.

The standing refusal

This site does not print salary figures, hiring rates, completion rates or job-placement claims for any course on it. That is not caution for its own sake. No certifying body publishes outcome data for these specific products, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports on occupations rather than on course products, and the survey numbers that circulate in this niche are produced by the companies selling the training.

The same rule covers guarantees. No page here says a certificate will get you a job, a raise or an interview, because no honest page can.

How scores work

Where a page scores something out of ten, it is scoring the product against the published rubric printed on the comparison of analytics certificates — what it teaches, how clear its pricing is, how much real practice it gives, how honest its credential language is, whether a free route covers the same ground, and whether it is kept current. Pages that have nothing to score carry no score, rather than a number invented to fill the box.

Corrections

Prices in this market move constantly and syllabuses change without announcement — the Google certificate gained a Python course that a great deal of published advice has not caught up with. If a figure here is out of date or wrong, send it over with the page you read it on and it will be checked against the source and corrected, with the new date shown.
